Membership is FREE to all residents of the communities we serve. To join, visit one of our libraries with the following:

    • Adults: Two pieces of ID, one with your current mailing address
    • Teens: (13-18 yrs) One piece of ID (e.g. student card)
    • Children: (Under 13 yrs) One piece of ID for the child and satisfactory proof of residence from parent or guardian registering the child. Library card will require signature of parent or guardian. The child is to be present at time of registration.

The FVRL home page gives you several navigational options to find the information you are looking for. Once you have logged in to your own personal account, you are able to view what items you currently have out, renew them, check your fines, or request an item to be brought in to your local library branch on hold for you.

To logon, press the “LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT” hyperlink on the right column, or on the “MY ACCOUNT” hyperlink that is on the top navigational ribbon on your screen.

The FVRL home page gives you several navigational options to find the information you are looking for. To logon, press the “LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT” hyperlink on the right column, or on the “MY ACCOUNT” hyperlink that is on the top navigational ribbon on your screen.

This will bring you to a new screen that requires you to include your name, library card number, and a PIN number. If you forget your PIN number, or have never gotten a PIN number, select the “FORGOT YOUR PIN” button to create a PIN number.

With your personal login account, you are also able to access all of the FVRL Online Resources. Select the “ONLINE RESOURCES” hyperlink from one of the navigation columns. A new page will open with a list of all the online resources and databases available. Some of the resources display text articles, while others are .pdf files and look like pages of a book or magazine.

Another great feature is the eCOLLECTION; a variety of digital books to view at home or on the go. Click on the “eCOLLECTION” hyperlink on the right column of the website for the page display the various eCOLLECTION links. To view this page now, click on the image below.

If you are always on the look-out for what to read next, or books to pique your interest, subscribing to FVRL service called NextReads is the perfect choice for you. To sign up for this free service, view the “PLAY” menu and select the “SUBSCRIBE TO NEXTREADS” hyperlink. Then, click on the hyperlink on the page that opens.

A new page will open with a list of genres and topics you can choose from. Enter your name and email to subscribe. From time to time you will receive newsletters promoting new items and must-reads according to your selections. You can unsubscribe at any time.
