Summer Reading

Want to borrow an unlimited number of MEI Secondary Library books over the summer break?

It’s easy! If you are in grades 9-11, simply fill in your Summer Reading Requests by June 10, and plan to pick them up on June 18 & 19 when you bring back textbooks, previously checked out library items, and grab your yearbook.

All library books borrowed over the summer will be due back the first week of school in September.

Find them for FREE | eBooks & Audiobooks

There are so many websites and apps promoting free eBooks & Audiobooks — it can be hard to know where to start! Here is just a little look at places we think you’ll find helpful as you start your search.

The sources for free eBooks & Audiobooks mentioned here, will connect you with books that can be read or listened to on computers, tablets, mobile devices, and eReaders. Sometimes access is through a browser, and sometimes it is a free app you can download.

All library due dates and fines have been paused until MEI Secondary Library is once again open.
If you currently have books out that are overdue, no additional fines will be added to your account for the days MEI Schools is closed. For books that you’ve taken out for over spring break, and whose due dates would be set for after the break, those due dates will be altered to once MEI Schools is open once again.
